The initial brief from our lovely clients was “white, white, white! I like everything white!”. Our response was to deliver a concept “Blanc de Blanc” the art of giving good white.
They had bought a sunny terrace which needed an overhall to take it out of the 2000’s. New bathrooms and kitchen were the starting point for this renovation along with custom joinery design and furnishings throughout. The palest timber floorboards were installed along with all new light fittings. We sought to deliver a space that combined the pure simplicity of white with a continuous flow of a completely neutral wrap.
The silence of white was firmly grounded through a selection of materials and finishes that were both tonal and textural. Stone used throughout the bathrooms and kitchen included shades of cream and white which continued to the furnishings. From our client’s love of green we punctuated varying shades in accents throughout. The bathrooms are a continuation of the palette with an additional layering of powdery grey finishes to provide warmth. The result is a soothing and calming space that sits lightly with a fresh ambience.
