Only recently renovated the owners of this three level, six bedroom home weren’t entirely happy. They didn’t like the way the house presented on approach and they felt the new layout didn’t serve the needs of the family and clumsy spaces were not maximising useable space.
Their deep love of entertaining was limited with a relatively small terrace. Plans were drawn up to extend the mid level terrace into a large balcony that served as an outdoor living room along with BBQ and outdoor fireplace allowing for a relaxing space to unwind and enjoy the magnificent views over Parsley Bay.
Upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms were reconfigured to allow for two master bedrooms, both with views and terrace and both with large ensuite. As the family regularly hosted guests it was important that a master wing was created to ensure privacy for the couple. On the lower level large children’s bedrooms were created each with an abundance of robe space and individual ensuite bathrooms. Finally a dark unused area was transformed into a stunning home gym.The new work connected seamlessly to the original design style of French Provincial villa and is set off by a grand, curved sandstone wall upon entry.
